What is the Microsoft Home Use Program?

The Microsoft Home Use Program allows employees at eligible companies to buy Microsoft consumer products at a discount.

Currently, a discount of 30% is offered to all School District 59 employees.  This discount will remain active as long as recurring billing is maintained, even if the employee leaves the District.

To take advantage of this discount:

  1. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/home-use-program
  2. In the Work E-mail Address field, enter your SD59 e-mail address, then click Get Started.
  3. Check your SD59 e-mail.  You will receive an e-mail from Microsoft with instructions on how to take advantage of the discount.
  4. Click the Get Started link, and sign in with your personal Microsoft account.  If you don't have a personal account, you will need to create one.
