Frequently Asked Question

How do I reset my password if I have forgotten it?
Last Updated 4 months ago

Password reset requests must go through the Technical Support department.

Once your password reset request has been processed, you will be provided a temporary password.  This temporary password becomes your current password, however, you will be required to select a new password at your next login.

  1. Log in to eServices - https://eservices.sd59.bc.ca/
  2. At the Login prompt:
    1. enter your e-mail address in the Username field, and
    2. enter your temporary password in the Old Password field.
    3. Click the Sign In button.
  3. At the Update Password prompt:
    1. Enter your temporary password in the Old Password field, and
    2. Create a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.  Your new password must meet complexity requirements:
      1. Minimum of 8 characters in length
      2. Must include at least one uppercase and lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol
      3. Must not be a reused password or an easily guessed password
    3. Click the Submit button.

After completing the password reset, please wait 5-10 minutes for your new password to synchronize to other systems, including Atrieve.

When logging in to your computer with your new password, you might see an alert that the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. You may also see prompts to unlock your keychain.  This is expected; the passwords for your user account and login keychain no longer match and therefore the system cannot automatically unlock your keycahin for you.

  1. Log out of your account if necessary.
  2. Log back into your account with your new credentials.
  3. On the alert that the system was unable to unlock your login keychain, click the Create New Keychain button.
