How do I erase browser cookies in Safari?

Cookies are stored on your computer by websites you visit and contain small pieces of information such as site preferences or login status.

To erase all cookies for all sites in Safari:

  1. Select the Safari menu in the menu bar, then select Preferences.
  2. Select the Privacy tab across the top of the window.
  3. Click the Manage Website Data... button.
  4. At the bottom of the window, click the Remove All button.
  5. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click the Remove Now button.
