Atrieve Password Stops Working
Last Updated 9 months ago

Atrieve says you have the wrong password

Description of Cause:

Spring of 2019 we started making passwords in the school district expire every 365 days. The reason for this is that there are over 600 leaked passwords associated with SD59 email addresses for external services. These are only the ones we know about. For a good number of you it’s been a year since you changed your password.

Unfortunately, Atrieve doesn’t handle forced password changes gracefully and just tells you that your password is wrong.

Try to log into eServices:

If that is successful:

It will prompt you to change your password. Then Atrieve will start working with the new password.

If you’re not able to log into eServices:

Contact a school tech or Ken McCleary at the Board Office and request a password reset.
