Disabling the private or random MAC address feature on your iOS 14 device or higher
To disable the private or random MAC address and revert to your original MAC address on your iPhone®, iPad® and Apple Watch®, follow the instructions below.
Directions
Step 1:
Go to the Settings app on your iOS device.
Step 2:
Tap on Wi-Fi.
Step 3:
Tap the information button
next to the Wi-Fi name you are connected to. (example: SD59Student or SD59Staff)
Step 4:
Tap the toggle switch next to Private Address to disable it.
NOTE: If your device is connected to the Wi-Fi without using a private address, a privacy message will pop up. Tap Rejoin.
Step 5:
Tap the toggle switch of Wi-Fi to turn it off and then ON again.
