How do I manage the school schedule?

Quick Start
Create or edit the school's School Schedule nodes, as these determine what is displayed in the School Schedule view.
Introduction
School schedules are displayed by a view, and each line of the schedule is constructed of School Schedule node relationship within the school's subsite.
Once the node relationships are created, they are displayed; no additional linking is necessary.
Components of a School Schedule Node
- Type: How the schedule line should be classified, e.g. Start, Break, Lunch, or Dismissal.
- Start Time: Enter the starting time for the schedule line.
- End Time: If the schedule line has a time range, enter the ending time for the schedule line.
- Weight: Determines the order in which the line is displayed. Lower numbers are displayed first. A good rule of thumb is to start the first schedule line with a weight of 0, and increase by one for each additional schedule line.
Adding a New Schedule Line
- Go to the school's front page. From the navigation links underneath the school title, select Nodes.
- Click the Add New Content button at the top of the page, then select the School Schedule content type.
- Fill in the fields on the Add Content form. For guidance on what to enter, see the Components of a School Schedule Node above.
- Click Save to continue to the node relationship creation screen.
- Click the Add new content item button to create the node and node relationship.
Editing an Existing Schedule Line
- Go to the school's front page. From the Administration list on the right side of the page, select Edit Schedule.
- Click the Edit link beside the line you would like to modify.
- Make the necessary modifications to the School Schedule node.
- Click Save to commit the changes.
