Introduction

To link to another page outside the SD59 website, you need to have the URL you want to link to.

If you're not sure what a URL is, please see this primer on URL composition first.

Finding the URL

The easiest way to get a URL to a page is to navigate to it with your browser, then copy the URL from the address bar.

Click on the address bar to get an insertion cursor, Select All (Cmd-A), then copy (Cmd-C).

Inserting External Links

1. Copy the URL to the page you want to link to.
2. Edit (or create) the page you want to insert the link into.
3. In a body field, select the text you want to have linked, then click the Link button.
4. Paste (Cmd-V) the URL into the URL field.
5. Click Save. Note that the text is now linked.
