Frequently Asked Question
Introduction
GlobalProtect is the program used for VPN access to the District's network. It layers an encrypted communication channel on top of your Internet connection, connecting you directly to the SD59 network. This article details how to use GlobalProtect to connect to the SD59 VPN network.
While enabled, you will be able to access internal resources such as file servers. Please be aware this program, while enabled, will also route all of your Internet-bound traffic through the SD59 network.
It is recommended that you connect to the VPN only as long as you need remote access to resources on the SD59 network, and disconnect when you no longer need them.
